Finally getting around to various things that I’ve been putting off while busy nesting. All of the songs on my webpage have now been annotated — nothing particularly deep or profound, in most cases, but It’s something I’d been meaning to do for a while.
And yes, that trip report is STILL in the queue.
Anyway, the esoterica is all at https://www.autographedcat.com/songs/

Oooh! I like your web site! Your song, “Music of the Cat,” reminds me of one called “Lullabye for Cat” that I wrote for my friend’s cat because he [the cat] always seemed to get mad or jealous whenever I played “Ravens.” It seemed to mollify him somewhat.
I’d like to learn “Music of the Cat” if you don’t mind. I have a good arrangement of most of the Phantom of the Opera songs.

Mind?? I’d be more than honoured! *HUG*

Congratulations 🙂 Something else to put on the to-do list when I finally get around to getting a song page up. (I note that you prefer afterwords to forewords -- any particular reason?)

Well, they pretty much are all afterthoughts, since some of those songs were written as much as 10 years ago. Also, I prefer not to over-explain songs, and let the reader/listener take away their own impressions, rather than trying to set them up for any.
